i'm gonna die

I don't think I'm going to make it to Friday. I took a nap from 10-11:30 - PM. How sick is that?

I keep telling Johnny to post, but he's a bum.

Auntie Cynthia: So I got assigned a faculty member to advise me on this fellowship I'm applying for, and his name is Howard Gold. I thought that was kinda weird....

Ali: I was in a meeting when you called, and then I had a study session after that, and then I got your message on my room phone, and then I fell asleep, and now I'm half-dead, so how about I call you Friday, k? I love you!

Hi Ashley and Johnny! Ashley, your Dad sent me the blog info that you and Johnny started up... If you don't mind, I'd love to read what you guys are up to! You are doing such awesome stuff in college and sounds like you are meeting some really influential people! Congratulations on deciding on your declaration- sounds interesting and I'm sure you'll do great! Get some sleep, and you'll make it through the week!
Take it easy, and if you keep bloggin' I'll keep readin'!
Much Love, your Aunt Cups

Hey Ashley & Johnny...
Because I didn't have a Google account, the note I sent to you guys went into cyberland and I'm just now getting back to you.
I, too, am thrilled to read your blogs and get first-hand reports on what's goin on w/you and Johnny.
This is really wierd, Ashley, but when I read your study declarations
I had just decided to follow my heart and go to Uganda on a Mission experience. I'll be with some of the people we traveled to Italy with in '03 to take part in the Cannonization of St. Daniel Comboni. We will be gone most of the month of February visiting the villages where the Comboni Missionaries have worked for 100 years. We'll visit their schools, hospitals and even radio stations (only one approved by the BBC to broadcast around the continent).
How amazing that you are falling right into your Mom's footsteps in your love of Africa!! It took me a few weeks to "jump in" w/this cause Grampa won't be going, and obviously there will be some risk involved (healthwise and political). I'm told that you can travel anywhere in Uganda with a Comboni priest and you will be protected - they are very respected in many parts of Africa.
They are also the first to know if there is trouble brewing, and in that case we would cancel.

Love all the "giant steps" you're taking - how fun to work on a Presidential campaign!!

Loads of Love,
xxxooo

p.s. Let's hear from Johnny!
